After learning that ISIS had oppressed members in their terrorist group, 3 student unions from York University released a joint statement of solidarity. Here is the statement:
We the unions present at so-called York University reaffirm our solidarity with the ISIS people. It recently came to our attention that ISIS is composed of mainly oppressed indigenous people. So now we support them in whatever they do. We believe that indigenous people are always oppressed and cannot be oppressors. Therefore any acts of resistance they commit are good and justified. We also think their acts are necessary, yes we the unions of so-called York University think killing innocent people is necessary and justified. We really said that, thought about it, wrote it down and published it.
So-called York University in so-called Canada in so-called Toronto is a colonial so-called university. Therefore we believe so-called terrorism is also justified here.
Also we now realize that the morals of the unions present at so-called York University correspond with those of the Taliban so we stand in solidarity with them too. Also Hezbollah.
