On Monday Jagmeet Singh publicly denied social media reports that claimed he had become a Liberal. “I am not a Liberal, I just think my bud Justin is doing a great job” he posted on TikTok. “Of course I am still a New Democrat, but guys you gotta admit he has been killing it these last few years.”

Singh posted a six part rant on his social media accounts, seemingly offended that people thought he had become a Liberal because he has been propping up the federal government since 2019. “Come on guys, if I didn’t agree with and vote in favour of all the Liberal policies my Liberal friends would be in trouble.” he continued “Yes the they have had multiple scandals recently, yes they are morally bankrupt, but they deserve a fourth chance.”

The federal Liberals have come under a lot of fire recently after Chinese government interference in Canadian elections, the resignation of the board of directors of the Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundation and the emergence of a housing crisis. “To be fair to the Liberals, my housing plan is worse than theirs. I want to give money to homeowners so they can give it to the banks.”

Singh went on to call the Liberals Covid19 response “a stroke of political genius” and he called the legalization of weed “Justin’s pièce de résistance” while kissing his fingers. Although the NDP stands to benefit the most of any political party from proportional representation elections, Singh is worried that he wouldn’t be hangin’ with his bros as much as he is now under first-past-the-post. He finished his rant by saying that “Justin really does have great hair though.”
